Hello, I am very sensitive to taking vitamins and minerals as I have a condition called dysmotility of the stomach and when taking liquids my stomach gets full very quickly. Would I be able to take the vitamin powder by sprinkling it on my food rather than a drink and does this vitamin powder have any side effects. Thank you.

Answer

It can be sprinkled on food. It helps increase gastric motility because of the magnesium and vitamin C, so may cause gas or loose stools in some. Pantethine 250-500 mg 2 x day as well as chewing sugar free gum after meals may also increase gastric motility. L&B, Dr. T
